Operated by JSP Skopje, the Millennium Cross cable car, which was put into service on June 3, 2011, leads to the Cross and connects Sredno Vodno and the top of Vodno. It is used as a means of transportation and at the same time serves for panoramic views of the city and the mountain.

 The cable car is located at an altitude of 570 meters, The elevation difference is 480 meters and its length is 1,600 meters. It moves with  speed of 6 meters per second and covers this distance in 4 minutes and 18 seconds. Passengers are accommodated in 28 cabins for eight passengers each and 2 cabins  for four passengers, and the total capacity of the cable car is 1,200 passengers per hour.
